Feelin' Blue

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 2:49 PM
I have no idea what's wrong with me. I've lost the inspiration and joy. Not even hearing Robert Preston's voice or the fictionous characters that I love would get me excited. I find myself unable to answer email replies or engage in forums. I just... feel empty. Nothing excites me, I don't want to do anything or go anywhere. I'm just a prisoner staring at blank walls.

Summer Movie Review: The Ugly Truth, HP, Ing. Bas.

Sun Aug 30, 2009, 4:46 PM
Wanted to do this with GI Joe, but 'F' it I'll do it anyway.

The Ugly Truth: Funny. Laughed at it and Gerald Butler is adorable in a jerkish way. However, the movie turned into another hollywood cliche romance with the predictable ending. I would rather of rented it.

Harry Potter 6: I love Harry Potter, but I was not a fan of the 6th book. I thought it was rather pointless other than setting up for the 7th book with the Horocruxes. When I read the reviews, I had hoped that perhaps it would be better. Uh uh. I still found it rather long and boring. But, I still love yah Harry.

Inglorious Basterds: I LOVE QUENTIN TARANTINO! Oh my goodness, Inglorious Basterds was glorious! Not to mention 'gore-ious'. Love the plot, love Brad Pitt, loved Diane Kruger, loved Til whats-his-name as Hugo. Hans Landa, the strangest and quirkest Nazi villian ever was always fun to watch. Although I don't know if it wise to call this Quentin's masterpiece as Brad says for him in the movie. I don't know if I can sit another two hours to watch it again, but like Up, I'm going to buy it.

Not a summer movie but I just watched The Music Man and I have to say that I'm in love with Professor Harold Hill a.k.a Robert Preston (R.I.P :cries:). He had a singing voice like golden thunder. It's 60's musical cheese but it's sooooooo fun to watch. ^^

Saw TF:ROTF again for the hell of it. It still sucks.

Personal Entry

Sun Aug 2, 2009, 11:52 AM
Usually I don't like to share my personal life on the internet for all eyes to see, but frankly this is the closest thing I have to a personal diary. I also need to get his out of me before it just freakin' kills me.

I'm getting sick and tired of my friends. I'm sick and tired of their constant need for repitition. I'm sick and tired of forcing myself to go to the movies with them because they are so uncreative and so content about remianing in their little boxes, that they have no desire to do something diffrent. Perhaps I once had something in common with them once, no there is nothing. It is very painful for me to even be in the same room with them. It's two people, not the entire group. I have maybe three friends left... one for sure.

My rethinking of them was triggered by something very rude of them to do. I heard them talking about me. Sorta. I walked up and they were using my name in a conversation that I could tell was nothing positive. Later, one of them through text admitted that they had not been a very good friend, frankly I couldn't agree more with them, but I wrote back saying that I accepted the apology. But I didn't.

I don't want to see them, nor talk to them. I can't, they still treat me like a pariah behind closed doors and I'm pretty sure that my backstabbing friends are still using me as something to laugh at.

We have a movie night every week or so. I'm not going. I don't have the stomach for it anymore. This whole situation is deflating my mood so much I can't write my fanfiction. The only thing that seems to pick me up nowadays.

I find myself narrowed down to two options.

1. Should I ride it out, do nothing, and be optimistic that maybe this is just a rough patch?

2. Should I break all ties with them, cause they don't have respect for me anymore?

I'm seriously considering option 2. Cause maybe bluntness, is the only way to for them to see, that they indeed, have NOT been good friends at all...

Moving and Summer Movie Review for Transformers 2

Mon Jul 20, 2009, 10:52 PM
I can finally sleep better now. I have problems with my parents. Mostly concerning noise. They like to listen/watch televison 24/7 with the deceibals turned up all the way. I like to read and write. The television is upstairs and so is my room-- conflict. It's hard to concentrate and study about WWII when all you hear Tyra Banks muffled screaming through the bedroom walls. I'm glad to say that, now I can sleep, write, read quietly now. I have moved into the downstairs bedroom. It wasn't easy... my stepfather is a nazi. He doesn't like change, he thinks everything we do is to spite him. Therefore, I spent my time avoiding him. He can be a real prick when something doesn't go his way.

Transformers 2. Not a big fan of this movie. Don't get me wrong. As a fan of TF, I enjoyed seeing Starscream finally behaving like Starscream. I loved seeing Optimus tear Decepticon faces open. I loved seeing Devastator, Ravage and Soundwave (except he spends most of his time floating around in space)and finally the Matrix of Leadership.

I had a problem with the constant need for cheap laughs through the use of toliet humor and swearing. As I recall, they didn't need that in the first movie and it was a hit. I also did not enjoy the Jar Jar Bots Mudflap and Skids-- they annoyed me to no end. You just want to punch Leo-- Shia's sidekick. And lastly... (SPOILER) If it wasn't all that to kill the movie for me, it was seeing Devastator with a set Transformer testicals. I also loved how The Fallen (The original Decepticon) was sitting on his ass for most of the movie as well. Pfft... some villain. "Coming this summer-- Revenge of the Fallen. Watch him SIT AND THINK!"

This movie was meh... kinda felt sad leaving the theater.

Let's see what else is new? Oh yes, I passed my AP tests! Even European history which I took as a class last year and got a 1. Studied by MYSELF and pulled a 3!

COLLEGE BOARD CAN SUCK IT!

Till next time...

Summer Movie Review So Far

Sun Jun 21, 2009, 6:43 PM
Despite living in such a beautiful state, I choose to be frieds with those who would rather sit on their asses and watch movies. Not that I have any objection to it, it just gets really old after awhile. Anyways, my opinions on the summer flicks so far...

Land of the Lost: Much better than I expected- more adult humor; very pleasantly surprised. I liked it.

Terminator Salvation: What... in... God's name... have they done?!!!?!? As a long-time fan of the series, I was very let down. Terrible slap in the face for any fan (in my opinion) although the action was good,as well as Danny Elfman's opening credit score.

Up: SO DAMN CUTE! I'm an totally buying it!

Star Trek: Please... this movie rocks! I'm not a Trekie and I still liked it. ^^ Worth seeing.

Year One: I didn't want to see this movie. I hate Michael Cera, I think he is a terrible actor and Jack Black gets old real fast. My frieds dragged me to this horrible peice of loathsome crap. Although I have to say the biblical spoofs they did were hilarious, but that's all I can say. DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE.

Wolverine: Meh...

That's all I've seen for now, I'll be back later to rant about Transformers, GI Joe, Inglorious Bastards and whatever else I get around to seeing.

Take care, bye-bye then.
